Central shakes off early deficit to beat Sparta

Despite falling behind 5-0 early on Thursday, Central baseball rallied in the middle innings to beat Sparta 11-9 in an MVC battle at Copeland Park.

Trailing 5-0 entering the bottom of the second inning, Central erupted for five runs to tie the game. They then scored five more in the fourth to bust the game open.
