CDC launches education campaigns aimed at preventing drug overdose deaths
Drug overdoses have claimed nearly 900,000 American lives during the past 20 years
ATLANTA, Ga. (WKBT) – The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is launching new education campaigns aimed at preventing drug overdose deaths.
The campaigns focus on the dangers of fentanyl, the risks and consequences of mixing drugs and the importance of reducing the stigma around drug use to support treatment and recovery.
Drug overdoses have claimed nearly 900,000 American lives during the past 20 years.
