Cars must be parked on even side of the street in Winona or they may be towed
WINONA, Minn. (WKBT)– Drivers in Winona are being warned that they might be ticketed and towed overnight if they’re not careful where they park. The city is declaring a tag and tow operation for the entire city.
Between 12:01 A.M. and 6:30 A.M. you must follow alternate side parking for snow removal. This means you should park on the even side of the street.
It also applies to the municipal parking lot at 3rd and Center St.
If your car is not on the even side, you will be ticketed and towed without exceptions.
If that does happen to your vehicle, you’ll need to bring proof of vehicle insurance and pay a $25 fine at the police department at 201 W 3rd St. Payments are accepted in cash, check, or credit, according to the police department.
All vehicles will be towed to Borkowski Towing and Salvage in Goodview.
