‘Care and Share Expo’ encourages communication, collaboration
More than 41 organizations attended the annual event in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Area organizations will be joining together this weekend, all in the spirit of giving.
The Franke Foundation is holding its 4th annual ‘Care and Share Expo’ this Saturday at the La Crosse Public Library. More than 41 different area organizations will be on display.
It’s a chance for them to communicate with one another and in some cases collaborate in the future.
The public can also attend and help these organizations continue to grow.
Any donations made will be matched by The Franke foundation up to $500.
“It’s kind of an incentive for the organizations to get their people out and for people in the community to want to come in and actually double the value of their contributions. So we really encourage people to do that,” said Mel Hoffman, of the Franke Foundation.
The Care and Share Expo starts at 10 Saturday morning at the La Crosse Public Library. The event runs until about 2 in the afternoon.
