Candidate list narrows for La Crosse Chief of Police vacancy
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Five candidates are in the running to be La Crosse’s new chief of police.
The narrowed field dropped to five from 12, according to Police and Fire Commission member Doug Happel.
Four of the candidates confirmed they will interview for the position with the fifth unconfirmed as of Monday morning.
The names of the candidates, or where those candidates currently work, has not been released.
Tentative plans are for candidates to be interviewed on September 23rd and 24th.
