It’s a much calmer evening across the region with partly cloudy skies. Skies will clear overnight and it will be cooler, with overnight lows in the 40s for most… but mid-upper 30s will be possible in traditional cooler spots north and east.
Couple of pleasant days are in store for the area. Expect mostly sunny skies Wednesday, with highs in the 60s for most… but right around 70F at the La Crosse airport. “Astronomical” fall arrives Wednesday afternoon with the autumnal equinox. It will be another cool one Wednesday night, with lows in the 40-45F range, but 30s will be likely north and east. Thursday will be another nice day, with highs in the mid 60s to low 70s.
Looking Ahead… Just a small chance for isolated showers on Friday, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. The weekend looks dry, with slightly cooler highs in the mid-upper 60s on Saturday… then warmer low-mid 70s on Sunday. Expect partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.
Warmer to start next week, with highs in the 70s to around 80F on Monday, then low-mid 70s Tuesday. Slight chance of showers and isolated t-storms next Wednesday, with highs closer to 70F. Have a great Tuesday night! -Bill Graul
