Caledonia man performing at former high school before heading to ‘America’s Got Talent’

Where to purchase your tickets for the show

A former graduate of Caledonia High School is heading back to school, but this time he’s moving on to bigger things, like the national TV show ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Kody Steele is a sound effects comedian that does “spot on” human sound effects of anything with an engine. He has performed on stage with the Trailer Park Boys and many other famous talents.

In November, Kody tried out for Americas Got Talent in San Diego. They brought him in for a second audition, and now the executive producers have asked him to put together 3 episodes for the show.

You can be a part of those episodes on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Caledonia High School where Kody will be doing what he loves and making people laugh.

“I started announcing demolition derbies when I was 18 to 25. I love being behind the microphone, the MC. I love being a comedian,” said Steele.

Limited tickets are available for $10 each. All proceeds go to the Caledonia Music Boosters.

Ticket locations: MAAD Alley, Chuck’s Old Fashion Meats, Elsie’s, Good Times, Wired Rooster, Caledonia Argus, Caledonia High School.
