For years it sat vacant. A fresh renovation and newly opened business is breathing in new life.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – After years of being vacant, a business is opening up in a downtown La Crosse storefront.
Curated, an interior design and home decor store, is located in the Newburg building at 320 Pearl Street. The building was originally built in 1917.
It has been completely renovated to include four apartment units above the store.
The store’s owner, Jennifer Hughes, says she watched the final steps of the renovation come together.
“They did an excellent job of doing all of the floors, the original floors, of the building, keeping all of the original features of the building to keep it as historically accurate as possible with a fresh new feel to it,” said Hughes.
Curated celebrated its grand opening on Thursday.
