Bucks hang on for win over Timberwolves

Antetokounmpo, Bucks beat Davis-led Lakers 111-104

The Bucks began 2020 with a tight 106-104 win over the Timberwolves in Milwaukee Wednesday night.

Giannis Antetokounmpo hit a three-pointer to push Milwaukee’s lead to six with two minutes to go, and Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton contested Minnesota’s potential game-tying shot in the final seconds to help secure the win.

Giannis finished with 32 points and 17 rebounds. The Bucks posted 12 blocks on defense, six of them coming from Brook Lopez.

The Bucks are now 31-5 on the season.
