Brewers claim RHP Chi Chi Gonzalez
The Brewers are adding right-handed pitcher Chi Chi Gonzalez to the team using a waiver claim, the team announced Tuesday.
In a corresponding 40-man roster move, the Brewers moved injured starter Freddy Peralta from the 10-dya injured list to the 60-day list.
Milwaukee claimed Gonzalez from Minnesota, where he had posted a 3.44 ERA at Triple-A St. Paul in just over 36 innings this season.
Gonzalez is a former first-round pick in 2013 and has a career 6.29 ERA across stints with the Rangers, Rockies, and Twins.
