Breezy & Mild Tonight -Bill Graul
Slight Chance of Showers & T-Storms Thursday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 73F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 88F…
Clear to partly cloudy tonight, breezy and mild with lows only dipping into the 67-74F range for most. Winds will be from the south around 10-20 mph, gusts to around 30 mph possible in some areas.
Breezy with a mix of clouds and sun on Thursday. Another cold front will bring a slight chance of scattered showers and isolated t-storms in the morning. Then more hit and miss showers and t-storms are possible later in the day and into Thursday evening. Expect seasonably warm highs again in the 83-90F range.
There’s a low-end risk (Level 1 Risk from the SPC) of a few strong to isolated severe storms Thursday afternoon and evening. I’m not overly concerned about the chance right now, but it’s something to keep an eye on if future forecast models show the storm chances could be more widespread. Stay tuned!
A pleasant summer day to kick off July on Friday, with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. Humidity will be lower as well. Saturday looks mainly dry with partly cloudy skies and seasonable highs in the low-mid 80s. Just isolated showers/t-storms possible Sunday with highs well into the 80s.
Looking Ahead… Unfortunately, there’s at least a slight chance for showers and t-storms on the 4th of July Monday… but it’s not looking like a washout by any stretch. You’ll just want to keep an eye on the forecast for your outdoor plans as we get closer. Chance for showers and t-storms on Tuesday as well, with highs in the low-mid 80s. Next Wednesday and Thursday look dry at this point, with highs in the mid 80s Wednesday… then close to 90F Thursday.
Have a great night! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
