Brad Pfaff hosts roundtable discussion with local seniors

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District Brad Pfaff is talking healthcare costs with local seniors.

The current state senator introduced a proposal to create an Office of Prescription Drug Affordability.

Pfaff says his opponent Derrick Van Orden plans to make cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

Pfaff says the move would hurt Wisconsin’s seniors.

“They’ve worked hard their entire life,” said Pfaff. “They do not need a member of Congress or a congressional representative who will go to Washington D.C. and cut Social Security and Medicare. That cannot happen.”

Pfaff’s proposal didn’t make it out of the committee.
