Boys and Girls Club reopens in West Salem
Safety measures in place including capacity limits
WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT) – The Brenengen Boys and Girls Club in West Salem is once again welcoming kids.
The club in the West Salem Middle School reopened Wednesday.
It’s the fifth location that has been reopened for the organization.
Like other locations, there are limits to how many kids can be in the building.
And planning is still underway to safely bring teens back into the clubs.
While the experience is different, club leaders are still thrilled to have kids back.
“We have groups of ten that are in different rooms and staying together. And really have set things up so it’s in more of a classroom setting where they’re at individual chairs at individual tables. Trying to do a lot of educational material,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse executive director Jake Erickson.
More club openings are planned for later this month.
