Blair-Taylor Softball comeback falls short in State semifinals

Blair-Taylor softball has pulled off several successful comeback victories throughout this postseason. They needed another one in Tuesday’s Division 4 State semifinal against Juda/Albany, but this time they fell short.

The Wildcats trailed 4-0 entering the fourth inning and was able to cut the deficit to two runs several times. The top-seeded Wildcats entered the seventh inning down 7-4 and could only muster one run before the Panthers caught the final out.

Blair-Taylor has reached the State semifinals each season since 2017 but is still in search of the program’s first championship. They finish this season, their first in Division 4, with a record of 28-1.
