Black River Falls man wanted in child sexual assault case arrested

The Black River Falls man wanted in a child sexual assault case was arrested in the Denver, Colorado area.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said the US Marshall Service notified them at about 7:50 a.m. Tuesday that they located and arrested 18-year-old Caleb Rave.

Rave was recently found guilty of first degree sexual assault of a child. He was placed on electronic monitoring/GPS and house arrest while he was waiting to be sentenced.  Rave’s electronic monitoring device sent a signal to authorities that that he was outside of his allowed area. He was last seen in the Jackson County Bank in Black River Falls on Oct. 20.

Rave is being held in the Denver area until transportation arrangements can be made to have him brought back to Jackson County.
