Black River Falls man arrested on suspicion of 8th OWI offense
TOWN OF BROCKWAY, Wis. (WKBT)- A Black River Falls man is arrested on suspicion of his 8th Operating While Intoxicated offense.
A Jackson County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop Friday at about 6:42 p.m. in the Town of Brockway.
The deputy smelled an odor of intoxicants coming from the driver, 57-year-old Bernard Mueller, and also noticed his eyes were red and glossy.
Mueller admitted to having 4 beers at the bar and 2 at home prior to driving.
The deputy says Mueller failed field sobriety tests.
Mueller has 7 prior Operating Under the Influence convictions.
He was also found to have a .02 Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) restriction.
