Jordan Fremstad is back in his home community after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in journalism and a minor in radio-TV-film.

Jordan has worked in the news and sports department since joining the News 8 Now team full time in January of 2018. Jordan’s passion began in the sports world, but he has found a passion for news storytelling. He was promoted to news anchor of News 8 Now at 5 in January of 2020. He’s excited to continue growing at the station he grew up watching.

In college, he covered everything from college athletics to the Green Bay Packers. Jordan also spent a year at North Dakota State University through National Student Exchange. He gained experience in five different internships throughout the Midwest before graduation.

What do you like about your job? The thrill of deadline pressure is something you can’t beat. There are so many people with inspiring stories and it is a privilege to help tell them.

Family: I am engaged to my beautiful lady Amy. My parents, my brother and my sister live in De Soto Wisconsin.
