A native of the Chicago suburbs, Alec is excited to join the WKBT Newsroom after graduating from the University of Iowa with a major in Journalism and a minor in Business Administration in 2018. In his time in Iowa City, Alec was a reporter and technical director for the student-run Daily Iowan TV Station. He was also a reporter for City Channel 4, a local station in Iowa City. In addition to news, Alec was also a play-by-play commentator for The Big Ten Student Network, and student-run station 89.7 KRUI. Alec is excited to start his professional career in La Crosse, and can’t wait to explore everything the city has to offer. When not reporting, Alec enjoys playing jazz guitar and is an avid fan of professional wrestling.
