BOSCOBEL, Wis. (WKBT) — Barbara Kay Stickley, 80, of rural Boscobel passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born on November 14th, 1940 to Dale & Kathryn (Beck) Heitt in Andrew, Iowa.
She attended and graduated from Andrew High School. On April 19, 1960, she married Larry Stickley. Barbara spent 18 years as township clerk of the Marietta Township. She also worked as a secretary, healthcare worker and as a substitute teacher, but her most important job was being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry; sons Allan (Peggy) Stickley of Boscobel, Ronald (Sheila) Stickley of Phillips, and Kevin (Serena) Stickley of Stueben; five grandchildren, Michael Stickley, Kyle (Nancy) Stickley, Tyler Stickley, Kelsey (Dustin) Faulkner and Mia Stickley; great-grandchildren, Vivienne Stickley and Leo Stickley, and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and other family and friends.
A private service for family and friends will be on Saturday at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home in Boscobel. A private family burial will bfollow the service.
