Bangor students give back during day of service
The day is an annual event for the district
BANGOR, Wis. (WKBT) – Middle and high school students from Bangor are finding ways to give back to others.
Students spent the day in the community for the district’s annual day of service.
They raked lawns, picked up garbage and made book markers for a local library.
It’s just a way to help keep the community they call home looking good.
“No one wants to see a bunch of dirty, dead plants and weeds in gardens, even if they not growing anything,” said seventh-grader Ryver Hansen.
The day was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic.
