Authorities capture man wanted in death of 3-year-old in Crawford County
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (WKBT) – A man authorities were looking for in connection with the death of a 3-year-old boy Friday morning has been located and is in custody.
At approximately 2 p.m., Chase Harville was located in a wooded area near the scene. Harville is in the Crawford County Jail facing a charge of 1st Degree reckless homicide.
PREVIOUS: Authorities are looking for Chase M. Harville, 29, of Prairie du Chien. Police say Harville ran from the scene of the death investigation on County Highway N. Harville is 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and unknown color shorts. Authorities do not know if he is armed but does ask the public not to engage with him if found.
