Attempted burglary at Kendall Fast Trip
Village of Kendall sees increase in burglaries to businesses
KENDALL, WI — The Kendall Marshal’s Office says two suspects wearing black ski masks tried to break into the Kendall Fast Trip, 223 E. South Railroad Street, around 9:35 p.m. on Sunday.
An employee told police she had closed for business a short time earlier and was completing her shift when she saw two people remove a screen and break a window to try and get in.
The employee locked herself in a back office to call police. The Kendall Marshal’s Office said the suspects were not able to get in and had left before authorities arrived.
Several businesses have been burglarized in the Village of Kendall in the last two months, the Marshal’s Office said.
