Area dogs pack the Coulee Kennel Club’s Dog Show

Some area dogs are on their best behavior, trying to take home more than a biscuit.

Coulee Kennel Club held its 65th annual all-breed dog show in Winona today.

The show includes up to 150 different breeds and varieties of dogs.

Nearly 6-hundred dogs competed in best in show.

In addition to watching some well-trained dogs, those who attend get to learn about different dog breeds and dog events.

The show continues to grow in size.

“The show’s pretty much the same every year but there’s always something that’s new and improved and growing and that’s always our strive, is to grow and get the public to see what we’re all about and that’s that you can do fun things with your dog in the area,” said Cheyenne Nagle, Coulee Kennel Club President.

This year saw of the dog show featured a puppy competition.
