Aptiv hosts Resource Night to show area residents La Crosse resources available to them
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — People in need of support in our community could find all of the different resources available to them at a one-stop-shop event.
Aptiv hosted its Resource Night Thursday evening. People were able to tour the different booths from several local organizations and agencies, and talk with professionals about achieving their goals.
“Just a wide range of different opportunities to help people that may need support that live on their own. They may just need somebody to take them grocery shopping or somebody to help them cook a meal or someone to help exercise. That’s what we do at Aptiv, and then the other places that are here are how to get services,” said Aptiv Community Outreach Specialist Jimmy Westland.
Thursday’s event included local agencies like Western Technical College, the North American Squirrel Association, and Inclusa.
