Applications now being accepted for WisCorps home repair program
Volunteers will start working June 16th
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Applications for basic home repairs are now being accepted in La Crosse.
Volunteers from the WisCorps Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program will start repair work on June 16th.
The work is free, but homeowners do need to provide the supplies like paint or nails.
Crews will have access to most of the necessary tools needed to complete the projects.
The effort will start June 16th and run through July 24th.
WisCorps leaders are hoping to have a big impact on the community.
“With the residents, we’re looking to up those numbers this year significantly. I’m targeting 50 homeowner project repairs this year,” said WisCorps field assistant Ben Olson.
Information about applying is available on WisCorps’ website.
