Another ‘Windows Open’ Night — Bill Graul
Next Rain Chance Not Until Wednesday Night or Thursday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 62F / Monday’s Forecast High: 87F…
Highs climbed back into the 90s today for many spots, but humidity remained low… making for a pretty nice Sunday across the region. Today marked the 10th out of the last 11 days… where the high temp reached 90F or hotter at the La Crosse airport.
Expect a sunny and toasty Sunday evening, but humidity will remain low. The dry air will cool off nicely overnight, with morning lows in the 50s to low 60s… so another “windows open” night for some free A/C!
Monday will be dry with sunny to partly cloudy skies. It won’t be quite as hot, thanks to NW winds around 5-15 mph, with highs in the 80s.
Looking Ahead… Tuesday and Wednesday are looking dry as well, with a mix of sun and clouds. Expect highs in the low-mid 80s Tuesday, then mid 80s on Wednesday. A disturbance will bring a chance for some scattered showers and t-storms Wednesday night and Thursday. It will also be quite warm and more humid Thursday, with highs in the upper 80s to around 90F.
Friday will be dry, with highs in the mid 80s. Saturday looks dry as well, with pleasant highs in the upper 70s to near 80F. Additional chances for needed rainfall look to occur next Sunday and Monday… which by the way is the start of “astronomical” summer.
Have a good night and a great week ahead! -Bill Graul
