Annual Mayoral Prayer Breakfast in La Crosse rebounds from COVID-19 pause

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Your supplications have been answered if you’ve been appealing for a return of the annual Mayoral Prayer Breakfast in La Crosse from its COVID-19 hiatus.
The 26th breakfast will take place from 7:29 to 8:45 a.m. May 5 in The Cargill Room at The Waterfront.
Tom Thibodeau, an associate professor at Viterbo University and the La Crosse guru of servant leadership, will keynote the event, part of the National Day of Prayer.
Thibodeau, who came to Viterbo in 1984, founded the school’s Master of Arts in Servant Leadership program — the first master’s degree of its kind in the nation.
Tickets, at $15 apiece or $150 for a table of 10, are available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday through April 27 at Living Word Christian Church office at 2015 Ward Ave. or online at the website of the Coulee Region Prayer Consortium.
For more information, call (608) 787-5922 or visit the consortium website.
