Annual blood drive in La Crosse looking for donors

All attempting donors receive a Versiti speaker and a button to Riverfest, as supplies last

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – An annual two-day blood drive provides the opportunity for community members to give back and help patients in need.

The La Crosse Gives Back blood drive takes place Tuesday and Wednesday at the Radisson Center Ballroom in downtown La Crosse.

Donors can help patients like Tara Molling, who had multiple myeloma in May and received two units of blood during her treatment.

“I am unable to donate blood, unfortunately. I am so grateful for all who do!” Molling said.

Community blood donors and representatives of Versiti will be on hand throughout each day. Visit or call 1-877-BE-A-HERO for more information or to schedule an appointment.
