Larger planes and passenger capacities coming to La Crosse Regional Airport
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — American Airlines will begin using larger planes with more seats Aug. 16 at La Crosse Regional Airport.
“The biggest challenge we’re seeing right now is in the La Crosse market is having seat availability,” said airport director Ian Turner. “Having these larger plans coming in will increase our number of available seats to a minimum of at least 30 percent.”
American Airlines flights from La Crosse also will offer first-class cabin seats to O’Hare Airport in Chicago.
The new planes will be Embraer E170 and 175 jets, which have between 65 and 76 seats.
