American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending universal masking in school

Position is stricter than the one taken by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

UNDATED (WKBT) – New COVID-19 guidance for schools from the American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending universal masking in school for everyone over the age of two.

It is a stricter position than the one taken this month by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Children under the age of 12 are not eligible for COVID-19 vaccines.

The updated guidance also recommends in-person learning.
