After a night of severe storms, sunny skies & warmth return -Isabella Hulsizer
Some may be waking up to storm damage this morning, while reports show that some hail stones dropped yesterday were was large as tennis and baseballs. Many spots in our region received anywhere between 1 to almost 3 inches of rain, which was much needed. Other reports show that some wind gusts in those storms reached up to 60 miles per hour.
Overall, it was a very active severe weather night.
Today however, things will be much more in tune with the weather from earlier this week. Sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Dew points are elevated slightly, following the storm.
We’ll break the 90s today, and clouds will dissipate throughout the day.
