Actors educate during La Crosse’s Fall Fest
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Historical reenactors gave lessons about La Crosse’s history during the city’s Fall Fest.
Businesses also offered up discounts and hosted live performances.
Architecture and segway tours gave people a chance to learn about the city.
For the La Crosse County Historical Society, it’s a chance to educate locals.
“This is our history, this is for local people. Hopefully being downtown, being a part of Fall Fest will bring in more people who live in the region and whose lives can be entertained, enriched, enlightened by things they didn’t know before they came and visited,” says Executive Director Peggy Derrick.
