About 1,500 come to Goats Everywhere to see 200 goats

Rainbow Ridge Farms in Onalaska hosted Goats Everywhere on Sunday, a fundraiser for the La Crosse County 4-H Goat Project.

The money helps pay for 4-H events and scholarships for Rainbow Ridge’s summer farm camp.

People came from as far as Nebraska to cuddle with baby goats, hike with goats, do goat yoga and climb trees with goats.

“Goats are the animal right now, that and llamas. Everybody adores llamas, but goats are really popular,” said Donna Murphy, a co-owner of Rainbow Ridge Farms.

If you missed your chance to see the goats, you’ll be able to catch many of them on July 17 at the West Salem fairgrounds.
