A Pleasant Day Ahead
Rain and Snow Possible Tomorrow
Good morning and happy Saturday! Look for a sunny and rather pleasant day today. It will remain on the cool side with highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s in the north and the upper 30s to lower 40s in the south. Again, look for light winds.
A weak disturbance will drop toward the area tonight. This system will bring an increase in clouds this evening. It could even bring a few snow showers late tonight. Look for lows in the 20s.
We’ll start tomorrow with a chance at snow showers. However, as temperatures warm, we ‘ll transition to rain and snow or possibly all rain. Sorry hunters, but snow accumulations look to remain light… under a half inch.
Looking ahead… we’ll start the Thanksgiving holiday week with increasing clouds and a cool start as highs top out in the 30s. We continue to watch Monday night and Tuesday as a storm system may bring a messy mix of rain and snow. It most likely will start out as snow Monday night into Tuesday morning before changing to all rain or a rain and snow mix. This could have an impact on holiday travel, so if you have travel plans, you will want to check later forecasts.
The rest of the week looks dry and seasonable, including Thanksgiving Day. Right now, we are calling for a partly sunny day, with highs in the middle 30s to middle 40s.
Have a great Saturday! -WKBT Cory Malles
