A former Marine Corps officer runs for Wisconsin Senate
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Kevin Nicholson served in two combat tours in the Marine Corps and was awarded a Bronze Star for his military leadership, and now he is running to represent Wisconsin in the Senate.
Nicholson currently works advising companies on how to solve strategic and operational problems.
His platform includes lowering the federal government’s debt by reducing wasteful spending and changing a tax code he calls ‘unfair and uncompetitive’.
Nicholson talked with News 8 and said, “Our problems as a country are huge, and they’re growing incredibly fast. We say we’re 20 trillion dollars in debt; we’re so much more than 20 trillion dollars in debt. And politicians, professional politicians like Tammy Baldwin, haven’t done anything about this.”
