7,065 new COVID-19 cases reported in Wisconsin
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)– Wisconsin hit another grim milestone for the coronavirus with 7,065 newly reported cases Saturday. The previous daily record was set Friday with 6,141 cases.
Since the start of the pandemic, 263,130 Wisconsinites have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 57,915 active cases in the state, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
45 more people have died. That brings the total to 2,301 deaths. 173 more people are hospitalized.
In La Crosse County, there are 217 new positive cases with new cases in every age cohort. That is the highest amount of new positive cases since September 18, when there were 254 new cases reported.
Two more county residents have been hospitalized.
