7 Ho-Chunk Nation vehicles damaged at Masonic Temple
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Seven vehicles belonging to the Ho-Chunk Nation were damaged in the Masonic Temple parking lot.
According to a La Crosse Police report, on Saturday, July 18, at 11:38 a.m., an officer was flagged down by an employee of the Masonic Temple regarding damage to multiple vehicles in their lot. All seven vehicles had their windshields damaged by what appears to be a heavy object.
Video cameras on the Masonic Temple, owned by the Ho-Chunk Nation, are pointing directly at the damaged vehicles and may help identify a suspect.
In the report, police referred to multiple incidents of property damage occurring in the last 48 hours involving a known suspect. Video from the Masonic Temple cameras showed the suspect causing damage to windows of the Masonic Temple. In addition, over $10,000.00 worth of damage was done to two other vehicles parked close to the Masonic Temple.
Charges are pending at this time, according to the report.
