$46 million of grants to support businesses in Wisconsin
The $5,000 grants will support about 9,300 businesses
MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) – More than $46 million is on the way to support businesses in Wisconsin.
Governor Tony Evers announced the $5,000 grants Tuesday, which will support about 9,300 businesses in the state.
“Our small businesses have had to innovate to stay afloat this past year and that’s why it’s critically important we make sure they have the resources to recover and bounce back from this pandemic,” Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said. “The ‘We’re All In’ program has been a great way to help support our small businesses and their workers, and we’re going to keep doing more for our businesses and industries, our communities, and folks across our state in the months ahead.”
The money for the grants comes from the CARES Act and will go to small businesses that applied during an earlier round of grants, but did not receive money.
