3 positive COVID-19 cases from recent National Guard testing event in Onalaska
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT)- The numbers are in from the National Guard’s recent COVID-19 testing event in Onalaska.
A total of 300 tests were given.
Of the 262 La Crosse County residents tested, 3 came back with positive results and health officials are waiting on results from another 7 tests.
38 people were tested that live outside La Crosse County. None of those tests came back positive.
As the economy starts to open back up, county health leaders say there is a new dashboard that can easily show you different risk levels and how to protect yourself.
“Data is really important, data helps us make solid decisions and that’s really critical for our community members to know that we don’t make decisions or recommendations without data,” said La Crosse Co. Health Director Jen Rombalski.
The National Guard will be holding another public testing event in downtown La Crosse on June 8th from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Exact details are still being worked out.
