Work will begin in the spring
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A $3.5 million project is coming for a local university.
Western Technical College announced the remodeling project of the college’s Welding and Apprenticeship Facility.
Educational spaces for electrician, maintenance and plumbing will be renovated during the project.
The project expected to start this spring and will update the infrastructure of the building.
Students are happy about what the change will mean for the future of the programs.
“To know that they’re watching us down here and fulfilling needs or wants that we would like to see here is a really good feeling,” said Western Technical College electric apprentice program student Matt Mauss.
Construction is scheduled to be complete before the beginning of the Fall 2020 term.
