$27 million renovation coming for Wabasha’s National Eagle Center

The Center will close on October 25th until Spring 2022 while renovations are underway.

WABASHA, Minn. (WKBT) – The National Eagle Center in Wabasha is ready to spread it’s wings.

The center is working on a $27 million renovation to allow for new exhibits, outdoor spaces and improved care opportunity for its eagles.

Organizers say the first phase will add six million dollars into the community.

“Eagles inspire all of us. They are such incredible species. They’re a national symbol. They are a conservation success story. And we have the ability to share the stories,” said Meg Gammage-Tucker
