Due to health concerns over covid-19, the Applefest Board of Directors made the tough decision to postpone the event until 2021
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT)– Some bad news for all you apple lovers out there.
The 2020 La Crescent Applefest has been officially cancelled.
Due to health concerns over covid-19, the Applefest Board of Directors made the tough decision to postpone the event until 2021.
The board posted on the their Facebook page in part, “The cost to put on a festival of this magnitude is very expensive and we depend solely on donations received from many local small businesses. Unfortunately, these small businesses have also been put in a very difficult financial position. Applefest can not take the risk of this being the last Apple Festival to take place in La Crescent.”
