2016 Football Preview: Kickapoo/La Farge Predators

Some teams are able to tout all senior starting lineups. Then there is Kickapoo/La Farge who will have only one senior on it’s roster in 2016.

The good thing is that the junior class is skilled, with many having plenty of varsity experience. It’s a group that will have to rise up and become leaders.

“It’s a lot of sophomores and a lot of freshmen and we only have one senior. But we’ve got everyone in a great spot and I think it will work out really well,” said junior Orson Jones.

Josh Hansen takes over as head coach after holding that same title in Viroqua a few years back.

“This group, they have a lot of good athleticism,” Hansen said about his junior class.

“They made the playoffs last year but they had a pretty strong senior group. But I think a lot of teams in the Ridge and Valley are in a similar situation as us trying to get numbers. And I think every game you kind of never know.”
