2016 Football Preview: Brookwood Falcons

The Brookwood Falcons are looking to build off a successful end to the 2015 season.

The team finished just two games back of eventual state champion: Bangor, and had an upset victory in the first level of the WIAA playoffs.

But even with that success, 2nd year head coach Jeremy Mack is changing things up.

Right now, the team is learning a new playbook for the purpose of using players in the roles necessary to keep competing in the Scenic Bluffs conference.

“They’ve worked hard. They’ve really been locked in during chalk talk and asking questions. I think that’s been one of the things I’ve been most impressed with: how quickly they’ve adapted and how quickly they’ve learned,” said Mack.

Players also spoke on changing up positions, and learning on the fly.

“There’s a lot of people that are changing spots this year and playing where we need them but everybody seems to be up for the challenge and taking it pretty well so far,” said senior Jaden Havlik.
