2 charged with felony murder in 2019 stabbing death of Onalaska man

Sentencing set for man who took shotgun into city building

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WKBT) – Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has charged two individuals believed to be involved in the 2019 stabbing death of an Onalaska man.

Angel Monge Mathuzima, 31, and Shirley L. Monge, 32, each are charged with felony murder – battery, as party to a crime, by the Milwaukee County DA.

On September 15, 2019, at approximately 1:56 a.m. authorities responded to the 2000 block of 71st Street for a call reporting a stabbing. Police learned from an investigation that a fight took place between two groups of people which led to the stabbing and death of Ryan Sorensen, 33, from Onalaska.

On Tuesday, July 28, West Allis Police Detectives arrested a 31-year-old male and a 32-year-old female, both residents of Milwaukee, for the homicide. Neither was known to the victim.
