$2 billion in federal aid for nations airports
Airports need to apply for the grants by June 30th 2021
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – The La Crosse Regional Airport may be eligible for funds to help combat the coronavirus.
The U.S. Department of Transportation is making nearly $2 billion available to airports affected by the pandemic.
The program is available to more than 3,000 commercial, reliever, and publicly owned airports.
Most of the funds will go towards keeping people safe and other costs related to stopping the spread of the disease.
Airports need to apply for the grants by June 30th 2021.
