13th Annual Pancake Breakfast helps La Crosse seniors

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The 13th Annual Pancake Breakfast at the Harry J. Olson Senior Center raised money for a worthy cause.

Seniors and members of the public took part in a delicious pancake breakfast and bake sale.

The Center is in danger of closing and organizers say if it does, seniors would lose an important part of their routines.

“They come here to meet friends, play cards, [do] activities, exercise,” said Executive Director Erin Goggin. “It’s just important for them to have a place to go so they’re not by themselves so much.”

If you missed the pancake breakfast and would like to help out, no need to worry.

The center also hosts dances every Wednesday which are open to everyone.
