UPDATE: Silver Alert Canceled after missing Monroe Co. man found safe

CASHTON, Wis.- A statewide alert for a missing Monroe Co. man has been canceled after he was found safe.


CASHTON, Wis.- A Silver Alert has been issued statewide for missing Richard Carroll, 61, Caucasian, Male, 5 feet 7 inches, with Brown eyes, Brown hair and balding.

Last seen wearing Blue jeans, Grey zip-up hooded sweatshirt, knit brown hat with a white stripe around, glasses, gold ring on right ring finger (possibly with diamonds), white/blue tennis shoes. Last seen on Main Street in Cashton, WI (Bank of Cashton), Date and Time Last Seen: 1-25-2021 at 2:00pm.

Richard is driving a 2000 Blue Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab, WI license plate NK4742, Black metal tonneau cover on bed of truck, running boards on the sides.
According to the alert sent out by the Wisconsin Crime Network, Richard left his residence in Rockland, WI this afternoon at approximately 11:00 A.M.
Richard went to the Rockland Stop and Go and then went to the Bank of Cashton. Richard left the Bank of Cashton at approximately 2:00 P.M. and told tellers that he was heading home. Richard was supposed to be at work today at 2:30 P.M. Richard didn’t go back home and didn’t make it to work.
