Premiums should go down for those who still need to buy insurance

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – 121 homeowners in La Crosse no longer will need to buy flood insurance.

The development follows the completion of the Ebner Coulee Floodplain Analysis Project.

There is some good news for homeowners who still need flood insurance: The study found existing premiums should go down.

However, homeowners probably will need to wait until the end of a 90-day appeal period, which is expected in early March.
