Jordy Foy grew up in the small town of Ellsworth, on the western edge of Wisconsin. He says he's always been interested in the news and grew up watching news stations from the Twin Cities.
Jordy started working at News 8 April 2013, after graduating from UW- La Crosse. He majored in Communication Studies with an emphasize in Broadcast Digital Media.
Jordy started out helping wherever we needed him, before moving into the 10 p.m. producer role in February 2013.

If you could interview one person, living or deceased, who would that be?
I’d love to play guitar with Johnny Cash with Freddie Mercury as lead vocals.
What sports team are you a big fan of?
Even though they break my heart every season, I love Badgers, win, lose, or draw.
What’s your favorite part about your work?
I love being able to learn about the area by telling the stories of the people in our community.
It takes a stronger man than me to turn down a slice of pizza.
Favorite pizza topping?
Sausage, pepperoni or artichoke shrimp
Do you have a hobby or collect anything special to you?
I like planting; I have cilantro, basil and tomatoes growing from my windowsill.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
I like to go sightseeing around the city on my bike and then go drool over the new guitars at Dave’s Guitar Shop.
